Admission to HS First Year 2024

In order to be considered for admission to the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council’s (AHSEC) HS First Year (Class XI), students who have recently passed the HSLC or an equivalent exam must submit their online applications via the council’s official admission site. The DARPAN Admission Portal is the name of the AHSEC’s online admissions portal. Students can take digital admissions without physically visiting the universities by using the Darpan Portal.

HS 1st Year Admission Fee Details

According to the official statement, the Assam government has waived the Assam Higher Secondary 1st year admission fee, allowing all students to enroll in government-recognized institutions for free. Assam HS 1st year online admission will be free, and all qualified students will not be charged a price to enroll.
