Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan(KVS) Class I to XII Admission 2024: Apply Online(01.04.2024 to 15.04.2024 (Monday) 05:00 PM)

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has issued a notification to conduct admissions for Classes I to XII in 2024. Candidates who are interested in the admission information and have met all qualifying requirements can read the notification and apply online.

• Name of the Post: KVS Class I to XII Admission 2024
• Admission advertisement: 4th week of March 2024 (last updated on 31.03.2024).
• Online registration for Class I: 01.04.2024 (Monday). 10:00 AM onwards
• The deadline for online registration for Class I is 15.04.2024 (Monday). 05:00 PM
• Declaration of provisional lists of registered applicants who have been selected and are on the wait list: First Provisional List on 19.04.2024 (Friday)
• Admission of eligible and selected candidates as listed above, in the following order:

(i) RTE

(ii) Only from Service Priority Categories I and II

(iii) Reservation Quota

• Shortfall after admission in

(i) and (ii) above: The second provisional list will be released on Monday, April 29, 2024 (if seats remain vacant), and the third will be released on Wednesday, May 8, 2024.

• Extended date for the second Notification of off-line registrations for admission under RTE Provisions, SC, ST, and OBC (NCL), if adequate applications are not received online. Notification dated Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Registration is open from Wednesday, May 8, 2024, to Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Display of list and admissions 22-05-2024 (Wednesday) to 27-05-2024 (Monday).
• Registration from Class II onwards (except Class XI).-Subject (in offline mode) to the availability of openings in a certain class: 01-04-2024 (Monday) to 10/04-2024 (Wednesday)
• Declaration of list of class II onwards: May 15, 2024 (Monday).
• Admission for class II begins on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, and ends on Monday, April 29, 2024.
• Admission deadline for all courses except class XI is on Saturday, June 29, 2024.
• For KV Students: Registration for admission to Class XI: Within 10 days of declaring class X results for KV students: Display of entrance list and admissions for Class XI. Within 20 days from the declaration of class X results
• Non-KV Students: Registration, presentation of admission list, and admissions in class XI (subject to vacancies): After admitting KV children to class XI, the last day for admission is 30 days after CBSE declares class-X results.

Age Limit

• For Class I, a child must be six years old as of March 31st of the academic year in which admission is sought.
• For Class I: – 6 years but less than 8 years old
• For Class II: – 7 years but under 9 years of age
• For Class III: 8 years but less than 10 years of age.
• For Class IV: 8 years but less than 10 years of age
• For Class V: 9 years but less than 11 years of age.
• For Class VI: – 10 years but under 12 years old
• For Class VII: – 11 but under 13 years of age
• For Class IX: 13 years but less than 15 years of age
• For Class X: 14 years but less than 16 years of age
