Unique ID for online admission

All applicants for admission to the state's higher education institutions (State Universities, Government and Provincial Colleges) must create an online unique student admission ID, according to the Directorate of Higher Education, Assam, official announcement. All students, both those who have previously applied for admission to an institution and those who plan to apply, must complete this process. Documents Needed to Create ID

Before completing the online registration form made available by DHE, Assam, students must have the following information at hand. All students are aware that admittance to the institutions they want to attend is a requirement.

• A current, legitimate mobile number.
• The last exam's admit card and registration certificate.
• IFSC-coded bank account numbers.

Note: Students do not need to generate their Unique ID again if they have did so during the previous Academic Session. For the current academic session, the same ID must be used. They can log in and edit their profile to make changes to their registration information.

How to Generate a Unique ID Online ?

Through the Directorate of Higher Education, Assam's official website, students can submit their DHE Online Unique ID applications. Additionally, students can finish their application for a Unique Student Admission ID by following the simple instructions mentioned below.

• Check the Important Link area as you scroll down.
• Select the link for "Generate Online Unique ID."
• Your browser's new tab will now open with an official web gateway.
• You can register yourself using the registration form found in that portal.
• You must fill out the registration form with all the information requested.
• You must then input your information.
• A confirmation SMS will be issued to your cellphone number following submission.
• I'm done now. You will now receive your DHE Unique ID.
• You will also get a copy of the acknowledgement for your contribution.
• Keep a copy of the acknowledgement for your records.

How Do I Change My Unique ID ?

Students who generated their Unique ID incorrectly or whose educational background has changed must update the information on their Unique ID. Students can change their details by following the instructions below on how to amend their Unique ID details.

• Check the Important Link area as you go up.
• Select the link for Modify Your Application.
• Your browser's new tab will now open with an official web gateway.
• A login form will be available in that portal.
• Your DHE Unique ID and date of birth must be entered in that form.
• You then need to click the Sign In button.
• You can now choose between Personal Information, Bank Account Information, and Options for the Qualifying Exam & Admission.
• To update the information for any of the aforementioned options, click on it.
• You can now alter things. To store the updated information, click the store button.
• Once you've saved, select Acknowledgment to download the updated acknowledgement copy.
• Keep a copy of the acknowledgement for your records.

Note: In order to get admitted to any Assam institute, applicants must complete the online Unique ID generation process. Therefore, even if they have already finished the session's online admission process, all students are recommended to create their IDs.
