Ratio & Proportion (অনুপাত আৰু সমানুপাত )

Ratio is a comparison of two quantities of the same kind using division, written as a:b. It shows how much one quantity is related to another. Proportion is an equality of two ratios, written as a:b = c:d. In proportion, the cross product of terms is equal (a×d = b×c). Important types of proportional numbers include first, second, third, and fourth proportional. The mean proportional between two numbers is the square root of their product. Ratio and proportion are widely used in daily life for comparing quantities, solving problems, and scaling values in mathematics and real situations.
