The Government of Assam’s Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department has launched the CM’s Jibon Anuprerana Scheme to support full-time research scholars. Under this initiative, eligible candidates admitted to PhD programs on or after 1st April 2021 will receive ₹25,000, while Divyang scholars will get ₹40,000 as one-time financial assistance.

How to Apply ?

1.  Visit Portal: Go to the official DIDS (Directorate of Investment and Development of Skills) portal.

2.  Find Scheme: Click on the “CM’s Jibon Anuprerana Scheme” section.

3.  Fill Application: Enter personal details, contact info, and PhD enrolment details.

4.  Upload Documents: Attach scanned copies (PhD admission proof, residence proof, certificates, etc.).

5.  Review & Submit: Check all details carefully before final submission.

6.  Verification: Your application goes to the institution (Registrar/Principal/VC) for verification.

7.  Approval & DBT: After verification and scrutiny, assistance will be transferred to your bank account via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
