CM’s Jibon Prerana Scheme for Monthly Financial Assistance 2025 – Apply online

The Government of Assam’s Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship Department launched the “Chief Minister’s Jibon Prerana Scheme” to support fresh graduates of 2025. It provides ₹2,500 per month for 12 months to help in job search, exam preparation, or self-employment. Applications can be submitted online from 3–30 November 2025

Scheme Objectives

Objectives

  • To support fresh graduates during their job search.
  • To encourage fresh graduates to prepare for competitive examinations.
  • To empower fresh graduates to pursue self-employment opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria for Jibon Prerana Scheme

  • Residency: Must be a permanent resident of Assam.
  • Graduation Status: Must be a 2025 pass-out graduate from a Government/Public institution of the state or central government located in Assam.

o    Not eligible: Students from open universities or private institutions.

  • Employment Status: Applicant must be unemployed.
  • Further Studies: Must not be admitted to any professional or vocational courses.
  • Other Schemes: Must not be a beneficiary of the Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme.
  • Parental Status Restrictions:

o    Parents must not hold Public Offices (MLA, MP, Minister).

o    Parents must not be registered contractors.

o    Family must not have professionals earning over ₹10 lakh annually.

o    Parents must not be government employees or pensioners (except Grade IV).

Verification and Payment Timeline

  • Institution Verification: Colleges/universities will verify applications by 31 December 2025.
  • Department Verification: Final verification and beneficiary list will be prepared by 10 January 2026.
  • Payment: Financial assistance will be transferred via DBT from 1 February 2026 onwards.

How to Apply ?

  • Visit the official Digital Infrastructure for DBT Scheme (DIDS) portal of the Assam Government.
  • Register on the portal using your basic details to create an account.
  • Log in to access the online application form.
  • Fill in all required information, including:

o    Personal details

o    Educational qualifications

o    Bank account details

o    Accurate information about the graduating institution

  • Read and agree to the self-declaration section.
  • Submit the application form online.
  • After submitting, download and save a copy of the application for future reference.
  • Applicants can use the direct links for the application portal and official notification when available.
