What is Place Value ? স্থানমূল্য কি ?

Place value tells us the value of a digit based on its position in a number. In a number, each digit has a place like ones, tens, hundreds, etc. The position of the digit decides its value.

Example: In 34, 3 is in the tens place, so its value is 30 . 4 is in the ones place, so its value is 4

স্থানমূল্য মানে এটা সংখ্যাত থকা অংকটোৰ স্থান অনুসাৰে তাৰ মূল্য কিমান হয়। সংখ্যাত অংকবোৰে একক, দহক, শতক আদি স্থান দখল কৰে। অংকটোৰ স্থানেই তাৰ মূল্য নিৰ্ধাৰণ কৰে।
