Congruence : Definition: Two figures are congruent if they have the same shape and the same size. Their corresponding sides and corresponding angles are equal.

সমদৃশ্যতা : সংজ্ঞা: দুটা আকাৰ বা চিত্ৰ একেই আকৃতি আৰু একেই আকাৰ থাকিলে তাক সমদৃশ্য (Congruent) বুলিও কোৱা হয়। সমদৃশ্য চিত্ৰসমূহৰ সম্বন্ধিত বাহু আৰু সম্বন্ধিত কোণ সমান হয়।

আকৃতি আৰু আকাৰ দুয়ো একে হয়। Shape and size are the same.
অৱস্থান বা দিশ সলনি হ’লেও সমদৃশ্যতা সলনি নহয়।Position or direction does not matter.
