Eligibility Criteria for PM Internship Scheme

1. Age: Applicants must be between 21 to 24 years old as of the last date of application submission. Eligible candidates should be Indian nationals who are not engaged in full-time employment or full-time education. Candidates enrolled in online or distance learning programs can apply.

2. Educational Qualification: Candidates must meet one of the following educational requirements:

   • Completed High School (10th grade)
   • Completed Higher Secondary School (12th grade)
   • Certificate from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI)
   • Diploma from any Polytechnic Institute
   • Degree in fields such as BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, BBA, BPharma, etc.

PM Internship Scheme Online Application Process

1. Visit the Official Website: Go to pminternship.mca.gov.in.

2. Registration:

   • On the homepage, click on the "Register Now" option.
   • Fill in the required details carefully and click the "Submit" button.

3. Profile Completion: After registration, candidates need to complete their profile on the PM Internship Portal. This includes preparing a CV and submitting preferences from the list of available internship opportunities.

4. Shortlisting Process:

   • Interns will be selected through a fair and inclusive process that considers diversity.
   • The portal promotes representation of various demographics, including SC, ST, OBC, and persons with disabilities.
   • Based on the number of offers for each internship, approximately double or triple the number of candidates (with bio-data) will be sent to the respective companies for selection.

5. Application Preferences: Candidates can apply for a maximum of five internship options based on their preferred location, sector, role, and qualifications.

6. Selection: Companies will review the submissions and select candidates according to their specific selection criteria.

Documents Required for PM Internship Scheme

Eligible candidates must have the following documents ready while registering on the PM Internship portal:

1. Aadhaar Card: A valid Aadhaar card for identification purposes.
2. Educational Certificate: This can be a Completion/Final Examination/Assessment Certificate, proving the candidate's educational qualifications.
3. Latest Passport Size Photograph: This is optional but can be helpful for the application.

For all other requirements, a self-declaration will suffice, meaning no additional document proof is necessary for those aspects.
